Financing

The Adalbert Stifter Association has received institutional support from the Federal German Government as a cultural institute since 1952 on the basis of section 96 (culture clause) of the German Law on Displaced Ethnic Germans and Refugees (BVFG). Since the elections of 1998, support has been provided through the Federal German Government’s Commissioner for Culture and the Media, Section K 45.
