Research scholarships

The Adalbert Stifter Association gives out four funded scholarships, each worth €500.

These are awarded to students, researchers, artists and writers, who have devoted time to the study of the culture and history of Germans in the Czech lands, especially their interaction with Czech culture and other cultures of this region.

In order to apply, it is sufficient to send a covering letter, an exposé and a curriculum vitae, making clear the specific project and the how the applicant intends to put it into practice. If the project forms part of an academic qualification, a reference from the supervisor may be included. The entire application should have no more than five pages.

The board of the Adalbert Stifter Association decides who is to receive the scholarships.
